Beware of “the naked man (or woman!) who offers you a shirt.”

Choose a style of hypnosis that is right for you.

It is not magic or fairy dust.

Hypnosis is the entrance (in trance) to your unconscious mind.

The unconscious mind (95% of the mind) . . . functions like a computer and actually “enjoys” receiving clear, specific commands.

Using the unconscious mind allows you to move more quickly to the core of the problem and change it at it’s point of origin.

When hypnotized (in a deep state of relaxation or trance), you will feel totally relaxed, with heightened alertness, at the same time.

It is important to understand that you are also in a heightened state of suggestibility - so choose a professional with strong credentials and high ethical standards - someone with whom you can established a positive and trusting rapport.

Hypnosis is powerful because it by-passes your critical internal voice to allow you to make the changes you really want to make.

Hypnosis is deeply relaxing and energizing.

Get clear, factual information before you commit to hypnosis.
When conducted in a caring, ethical, responsible manner, hypnosis can bring about powerful change.

Hypnosis - Past Life Regression - Energy Psychology . . . For Real? What Do You Mean?

"SEVEN THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT HYPNOSIS"

(1) Not all hypnosis is created equal.

Because hypnosis is a relatively unregulated profession, it is extremely important to be cautious about a hypnotist’s capabilities. There are various levels of training and experience, and the quality of service can vary. Unfortunately, almost anyone can receive certification on-line or through a weekend seminar. Also carefully select a hypnotist who knows his/her skill limitations and ethical responsibilities. Beware of “the naked man (or woman!) who offers you a shirt.” Challenges such as diagnosed mental and physical illness, extreme nervousness, sexual problems, uncontrollable anger, depression, pain management, extreme phobias, and addictions may need a referral from a licensed physician or competent clinician, prior to hypnosis.

Choose a style of hypnosis that is right for you. Some clients prefer “quick or rapid inductions” - making the most of their time (and money). Others prefer to have the opportunity to relax into the process and allow the change to occur more gently and more deeply.

(2) Hypnosis is one of the most powerful ways to create change, with the least amount of effort.

Hypnosis is the entrance (in trance) to your unconscious mind.

It is not magic or fairy dust. It is a modality that uses the massive power of your subconscious/unconscious mind.

Anyone who has tried to set and keep resolutions, change a habit by sheer willpower, or reach a goal with white-knuckled determination, knows the amount of effort involved. And we all know the disheartening discouragement we feel when we try so hard and we fail to reach our goals.

The conscious mind (only 5% of the mind) is most experienced in our immediate awareness. - It is sequential, logical, present-focused, deliberate, verbal, and linear. The conscious mind is able to hold only about seven or so pieces of information at a time. It’s multi-tasking ability is very limited and specifically focused.

The unconscious mind (95% of the mind), on the other hand, is broader in its scope of processing information. It is intuitive, and it makes multiple associations of information easily, connecting thoughts, ideas, and feelings. The unconscious mind mind knows “why”. it regulates involuntary movements in your body, like the beating of your heart and the scratching of your nose. It gathers a wealth of information through your senses - all that you hear, see, feel, taste, smell, touch, and sense. The unconscious mind is automatic, literal, and experiential. It gathers, stores, and assimilates massive amounts of information - literally billions and billions of pieces of data. The unconscious links memories of experiences, creating a resourceful inner state. The unconscious also has unlimited focus. It functions like a computer and actually “enjoys” receiving clear, specific commands.

Using the unconscious mind allows you to move more quickly to the core of the problem and change it at it’s point of origin.

(3) You are always in control.

When hypnotized (in a deep state of relaxation or trance), you will feel totally relaxed, with heightened alertness, at the same time. While in this altered state, anything that does not align with your values will be discarded by your unconscious. However it is important to understand that you are also in a heightened state of suggestibility - so choose a professional with strong credentials and high ethical standards - someone with whom you can established a positive and trusting rapport.

(4) Hypnosis restores your freedom of choice.

Hypnosis is powerful because it by-passes your critical internal voice to allow you to make the changes you really want to make.

This simply means that the reasoning, evaluating, judging part of your mind (conscious) is bypassed. Then with laser-like precision, the unproductive, self-sabotaging, hurtful beliefs that have been stored in the unconscious are “re-written” into productive, self-healing, self-motivating, forward-moving beliefs that will propel you toward a desired goal or changed behavior - in a positive, permanent way.

(5) If you can daydream, watch TV, or sleep, you can be hypnotized.

Research shows that only 10-15% of the population are unresponsive to hypnosis. Any time you are watching TV, daydreaming, absorbed in a great book, or watching clouds pass overhead, you are being hypnotized. Hypnosis is simply an altered state of awareness. It is deeply relaxing and energizing.

(6) Hypnosis is not dangerous.

Hypnosis is not a dangerous process in itself, but complications may occur as the result of a hypnotist‘s misuse of technique(s), or from misperceptions on the part of the hypnotized person. Sometimes difficult memories, pain, or trauma may be elicited, so it important that the hypnotist is skilled in managing the process, in clearing the trauma, and is able to bring the client to a pain-free resolution.

(7) Care needs to be taken in treating clinical pain.

It is important that the patient undergoes a neurological examination to ensure that the pain has been accurately diagnosed. A physicians referral is imperative. Get clear, factual information before you commit to hypnosis.

When conducted in a caring, ethical, responsible manner, hypnosis can bring about powerful change.

ALERT:  THERE ARE HYPNOTISTS WHO
DO PAST LIFE REGRESSION BUT . . .
DON’T BELIEVE IN PAST LIFE REGRESSION!

That’s absolutely right.  And they can often do very excellent work.

How Can That Be?

I have a friend and colleague, Dr. Richard Blade.  He is a internationally known physicist and retired university professor.   An absolutely brilliant man.  Literally a genius, off the charts.  AND is a hypnotist.  His specialty is, by the way, medical hypnosis.  Though he believes there is “absolutely no scientific proof for past life regression”, he does it anyway – and quite effectively, I might add - for one reason only – because it works!  That’s it!  Past Life Regression works.

Here’s what we know about Past Life Regression.  The subconscious mind stores all of our memories from whatever lives we “believe” in.  And like a computer, the mind stores its information in symbols.  The subconscious mind does not judge or evaluate – it only organizes and responds to these symbols.

Carl Jung, the father of Jungian Psychology, was the first to scientifically research dreams and the meaning of symbols.  He learned that by observing and interpreting these symbols, in the story of the dream, the truth about what was going on at an unconscious level could be understand, thus leading to new awareness and resulting in change.

That’s how it works with Past Life Regression, as well.  It’s not about how interesting the story is – and believe me, the story can be pretty interesting!  It’s about the symbols and the patterns in the story.  Questions like, “What is the story teaching me about?”  “What lessons am I meant to learn?”  “What patterns are repeated?”  “What beliefs need to change?”  These are the important questions - that lead to the powerful answers - that produce the transformation.

So How Does It Work?

So here’s what we do.  We go back, as far back, to wherever we need to go – it’s a wonderful journey into your subconscious mind – back into your memories.  When we arrive at a lifetime of your choice, we watch it like a movie.  Sometimes we go into the movie.  It’s about  the characters, the plot, the twist and turns, the ending.  More importantly, together we study the patterns,  beliefs,  choices, and results.  Then taking these understandings, we bring this new knowledge into your present life experience, to unlock what’s been keeping you from moving forward.  By bring what was once unconscious into your present life, you’re freed up to make Conscious Choices!  You can break the old patterns.  You can now do it differently in this life.

Why Do People Do Past Life Regression?

A variety of reasons.

Some of us are just curious creatures.  We just wanna know.  Where did my journey on this planet really start?  What was it like?  Who was I then, in comparison to who I am now?  It’s about self-exploration and self awareness.

Others seek out Past Life Regression because they have had a significant event or relationship that has impacted them – even taken them unawares – and the event/relationship seems “bigger than life”. One woman described it to me as “having been hit by a cosmic mac truck.”  Whew, okay – that’ll get your attention!  Perhaps they have had a powerful reaction that seemed out of proportion.  Or they’ve connected with someone that didn’t make sense rationally – or even wasn’t good for them.  Or they felt compelled to make decisions that took them down paths they never dreamed of.  When the past is uncovered, it then all makes sense.  The pieces fit.  Something relaxes, becomes peaceful deep inside.  The truth really does set us free.   Then the power of choice is restored.

Some identify a habit, pattern, or event that keeps repeating itself in this lifetime.   It’s usually destructive, unproductive, hurtful or frustrating.  Past Life Regression is a way of going back to the point in time when that pattern began, in order to complete or alter the pattern and the outcome in this lifetime.  This may or may not be related to what is sometimes called “karma” (cause/effect).

Significantly more and more people are coming to me, who have done extensive psychotherapeutic work, but they still don’t feel like they’ve gotten “to the bottom” of what’s going on for them.  Many have worked with highly competent clinicians, but they know there’s more going on.  When we go back to past life experiences, we discover where it started and what needs to be altered to move forward in a different way.  Working from that starting point, the issues are unlocked and resolved.  Very powerful stuff!

Whatever your reason, you’ll discover Past Life Regression to be fascinating, unexpected, and rewarding – truly a magic carpet ride through your subconscious mind – bringing you fresh awareness and insight to live your life more fully in the present!

SO WHAT THE HECK IS ENERGY PSYCHOLOGY?

Energy Psychology is one of the most rapidly growing clinical approaches today.  With the development and expansion of quantum physics, the marriage of psychology and energy studies has created unprecedented resources for change.  What was once considered mystical and suspect has gained credibility.

Once psychotherapy was considered the more effective way to bring about change in people and in relationships.  With the new development in the scientific knowledge of energy and how it works at a variety of levels, combined with the proven field of psychology, we can create change more rapidly then ever before.

Though I am trained in and use several approaches in energy work, I often combine ThetaHealing with Hypnotherapy. It is now recognized in the field of Energy Psychology that one of the most effective approaches to change is ThetaHealing. And when I combine this modality with clinical hypnotherapy, it is even more powerful. ThetaHealing is a system that uses the best of energy and psychology.  Developed by Vianna Stibal at the end of the last century, it is a rapid change technique that works with your core beliefs, genetic influences, memories, and history, along with mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences, to create rapid, lasting change.

How Does It Work?

It has been scientifically proven that your body stores information at a cellular level.

Working with the Theta brain wave, while in a relaxed state, we can connect with your subconscious and conscious mind, to obtain the information we need, to produce the change that you want.  That means that whatever challenges you have had in the past -  i.e. anxiety, depression, self-sabotage, lack of self-esteem or confidence, self-destructive habits or patterns – can now be changed more rapidly and thoroughly than before – using both psychology AND energy.

Bypassing your conscious defenses, we can now access this information, identify the beliefs that are no longer serving you, and install clear directives that are in your best interest.

We can direct your mind to release the impressions and beliefs of the past and to activate positive beliefs that will move you forward in your health and happiness in the future.

How Long Does It Take?

ThetaHealing is very specific in its focus.  Here’s the simple steps involved.

  1.  We will precisely identify what you want to change.
  2. Then we will go straight to the source of what needs to change and activate the change at that exact level.
  3. When this change process is completed energetically and emotionally, you will be able to move forward to your goal.

That Sounds Too Simple.

I respect your skepticism.   What's most important is that IT WORKS.
